March Activity: FOOD WASTE COMPOST: Waste to Wonder! We had a brainstorming session about how to repurpose leftover fruit and fruit peels after our Fruit Day in class. Then, we blended all the leftovers and peels in a food processor to turn them into compost. We let the compost sit for a few days and then mixed it into the soil. We used the compost water to nourish our flowers. We planted our crops in the compost-enriched soil, and they grew very quickly. The flowers we watered with compost water became much healthier. 🌱🍎🌿
